On the Two Races in the South

The South, to use the language of the Council of Chalcedon about our Lord’s two natures, divine and human, being united in one Person, is two kin-groups - African and Western European (mainly English, Celts, French, and Spanish) - making up one ethnos: Dixie.  With our Lord Jesus Christ, to magnify one nature at the expense of the other is to make Him something other than the God-man, the enfleshed Logos Who came to heal mankind’s wounds through His all-holy life, crucifixion, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension.  Both the human and the divine natures are fully present and operative, and His salvific work is accomplished as both perfectly cooperate one with the other.

In the same way, the South will cease to be the South if one of her two kin-groups tries to diminish the other in some way.  Both must be present, without separation and without confusion, as with our Lord’s two natures, cooperating with one another as we try to build a Christian society for the salvation of all our souls and bodies.

Relations between blacks and whites have always been pretty good here in Dixie, which is more than we can say about our Northern cousins:

But if the South is to avoid becoming as arrogant and obnoxious and atheistic as the ‘racially pure’ North, both kin-groups here in Dixie must continue to say to one another, ‘I need you’.  Love and humility will keep us grounded in God’s will.  It is God’s providence that brought us together some 400 years ago; it would be reckless to rush to break the bonds with which He has joined us together.

Rather, we ought as one Southern family to work together to protect ourselves from those who would undermine in any way - through mass immigration, violence, propaganda, etc. - the harmony that remains between the Southernized people of Western Europe and Africa so that we can all focus on working out our salvation in fear and trembling before the All-Holy Trinity and not the latest aggrieved identity group, agent-provocateur, or social justice warrior.

Holy Ælfred the Great, King of England, South Patron, pray for us sinners at the Souð, unworthy though we are!

Anathema to the Union!
