Gen Soleimani Was not a ‘Terrorist’


The Islamic State has admitted as much by rejoicing at his death:

He was, rather, a general of a recognized nation.  All the self-styled conservatives who are calling him a ‘terrorist’ need to be careful to call things what they really are (a terrorist is generally defined as a non-state actor).  They have already been on the receiving end of mislabeling propaganda during Pres Obama’s administration:


By calling Soleimani a terrorist, these conservatives are only making it easier for those who despise them to twist the meaning of words in order to target them at some point in the future.
