Well, just recently Baton Rouge has set aside a day (29 Jan.) to honor a
TV weatherman celebrity:

A day
honoring a fluff weatherman (though in his defense he did honor St Patrick) but
no day honoring St Martin of Tours as Louisiana’s Patron Saint, in Baton Rouge
nor any other part of the State? That is
very shameful. May God have mercy on us for
shunning one of His beloved friends, St Martin.
