Before we
get to the essay, we need to acknowledge that we misread the article. The CDC isn’t behind the Q Chat Space web
site mentioned below; they are only promoting it (Thanks to Mr Rod Dreher for
making this point at his blog at The American Conservative). This is bad enough, however, and the only
thing that is much affected by our misstep is the first action item that we
recommend in the latter part of the essay; it should be revised so that it
reads, ‘Make it known that the AG’s office in
Louisiana will file charges against anyone who engages with any Louisiana child
through the Q Chat Space’.
We still very much encourage Louisiana folk to contact
AG Landry’s office and ask them protect la Louisiane from
these predators.
With all that said, on to the essay.

The Biden Administration is waging a fierce war against the
traditional Christian understanding of the human family and sexuality on many
fronts, from queering the military to weaponizing
the school lunch program to tinkering
with Title IX.
One of the most disturbing fronts in that battle is
happening within the federal Centers for Disease Control and its new Q Chat
Space. Breitbart’s Spencer
Lindquist gives a
short summary:
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is
promoting to youth an online chat space that discusses sex, polyamorous
relationships, the occult, sex change operations, and activism, and is specifically
designed to be quickly hidden while being used. It also mixes LGBT adults and
children and is run in part by Planned Parenthood.
Called Q Chat Space, the platform is advertised on the CDC’s
LGBT Health Youth Resources page, archived here. The chat service, which describes itself as “a
community for LGBTQ+ teens,” is available for those ages 13-19, can be hidden
from parents, and focuses on a number of mature themes.
Q Chat hosts conversations on a number of
different mature and sexual topics, including “Drag
Culture 101,”
“Sex
and Relationships,”
and “Having
Multiple Genders,”
intended for ‘Bi/Pan Youth.”
This service appears to break Louisiana law, insofar as it
is ‘indecent behavior with a juvenile’, etc.
See here,
here,
and here.
And yet, as alarming as this new venture by the CDC is,
undermining the traditional Christian family has long been one of the top aims
of communists and their revolutionary fellow travelers. The Orthodox priest Father
Ben Johnson writes,
The co-author of The Communist
Manifesto, Friedrich Engels, noted, “It is a peculiar fact
that with every great revolutionary movement the question of 'free love' comes
to the foreground.” From Charles Fourier and Robert Owen to Engels himself,
the socialist tradition sees the family unit as the incubator of inequality.
The advocates of unattainable equality recognize that, even after the state
nationalizes all the factors of production and redistributes all wealth, one
institution cannot be leveled: the family. Some parents will invest in their
children more than others, leading to unequal social capital and, thus, unequal
outcomes.
A lengthier investigation of this subject is here.
Since the Louisiana Legislature has taken a pass on doing
anything constructive in the near-term, the responsibility of fighting this
revolutionary menace falls, for the moment, on AG Jeff Landry’s shoulders. There are at least two things his office
ought to do in response to this criminal cyber sexual assault of Louisiana’s
children:
