There
are a number of oddities about the latest California wildfires, and there is no
shortage of reporting about them:
One
of the most ominous things to come out of this situation is the open talk of
refusing to allow California folk to build their homes in forest areas, as this
fellow from Stanford said on NPR:
Per
some of the above, this is a step toward moving the rural populations into
gulag-like ‘smart cities’ based on the amorphous threat of climate change (this
is also often mentioned with regard to hurricanes and homes along the south and
east coasts).
But
why dwell on such things, you might ask, which look so outlandish and
‘conspiratorial’? Because this is the
nature of the modern age. We do not live
in the simpler times of the 17th and 18th centuries when
the Elite would line up row upon row of canon and musket to wipe out enemies
and remake the world. Now their methods
are more numerous and sophisticated.
From the manipulation of consciousness using the flicker rates of
screens to sex robots to destroying the fertility of creatures using cellphone
radiation (http://magdahavas.com/microwave-radiation-from-wireless-devices-harms-plants/),
all of this is either coming to the South, or it is already here. If we want to protect Dixieland, we can’t put
our heads in the sand and pretend such things won’t, or that they aren’t. It is no longer enough to simply rally round
the statues of Jeff Davis et al. That is
part of the answer, but it is not enough.
As we have said before, the South must ready herself for the coming
storms within the walls of the Holy Orthodox Church, overshadowed by the
Protecting Veil of the Mother of God, helped by the prayers of the saints,
guarded and guided by the angels, and nourished by the Most Pure Body and Most
Precious Blood of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ. This is the only trustworthy bulwark that can
shelter the South and her good traditions against the satanic forces about to
sweep over the earth with ferocious power.
Southern
Protestantism, for all its good points, was unable even at the height of its
strength before the War to curtail secularizing tendencies like
Sabbath-breaking. And today, in its more
attenuated form, it cannot restrain new vices like fantasy sports gambling (https://ballotpedia.org/Louisiana_Fantasy_Sports_Contests_Parish_Measures_(2018))
or the resumption of Sunday alcohol sales.
How much less, then, will it be able to shelter the South from the fierce
attacks that are a-coming.
Those
who have ears to hear, let them hear.
