Ain’t
gonna be no rapture, folks. Use that $30
to get to an Orthodox church at a parish or monastery for the Divine Liturgy,
where chronos time becomes kairos time, in which past, present,
and future are all experienced as one in the presence of the Most Holy Body and
Most Precious Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ:
PRIEST: (quietly) Having in remembrance,
therefore, this saving commandment and all those things which have come to pass
for us; the Cross, the Graves, the Resurrection on the third day, the Ascension
into heaven, the Session at the right hand, and the second, glorious Advent.
--One of the priestly
prayers from The Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom, http://www.stgeorgenj.com/the-divine-liturgy-of-st-john-chrysostom.html
The
Second Coming can be experienced here and now; it was meant to be. This is the source of the transforming power
of the local church; it is what makes a local church part of the Body of Christ
(i.e., the presence and partaking of the Holy Eucharist). There is no need to weary our eyes scanning
the skies, all the while falling under the spell of demonic illusions (which
will come mainly from the sky, the realm of the demons, as the Holy Fathers
warn us). The promise of Emmanuel is
still available for all those in the Orthodox Church who ‘With fear of God, and
faith, and love, draw near (Divine Liturgy).’

Holy Ælfred the Great, King of England,
South Patron, pray for us sinners at the Souð,
unworthy though we are!
Anathema to the Union!
The catholic church is the harlot riding the beast of revelation. The protestant denominations who still observe her pagan ways are her harlot daughters whom she spawned. Come out of the harlot and come to the truth.
ReplyDeleteDo God's commandments; all ten of them, including keeping the real seventh-day shabbat holy. Stop the paganism. Leave the harlot and her daughters and un-learn the lies we've all inherited from our ancestors.
