The Two Witnesses of the Book of Revelation

 

Today on Exploring the Word on American Family Radio, Dr Alex McFarland was giving his opinions on various topics related to St John’s Revelation, such as the Rapture and the two witnesses.  As to the latter, his belief is that the two witnesses will be Moses and Elijah.  Such beliefs again show the danger of following Protestant opinion.  The Holy Fathers of the Orthodox Church leave no doubt that the two witnesses will be the two men from past ages who have never tasted death:  the Holy Prophets Enoch and Elijah.  

Once again, we appreciate the zeal, the good works, etc., of Protestants, but their teachings are not trustworthy.  For a good guide to the Book of the Revelation, try the commentary by Fr Athansios Mitilinaios.
