A Change in the Entertainment Landscape

 

In 2020 total sales of video games were higher than movies and sports combined ($180 billion for the former vs $175 billion for the last two together), thanks in part to COVID lockdowns:

As COVID fear seems likely to continue (the new ‘mutant’ strain being the latest chapter in the never-ending production) and with it the interest in video games, the messaging/propaganda coming from them will need to be examined all the more closely going forward.
