We are
disappointed, but not overly surprised, that the Monroe City School District
decided to name a new junior high school after Martin Luther King, Jr.: In order to have any constructive dealings
with the Woke establishment, one has to honor its heroes.
That tie
itself is a good reason for them to have refused the name, but there are other reasons
that folks in Monroe should now request the name be changed, foremost among
them are his ties to communism and his sexual abuse of women.
Our children
need to have good role models in order to become the Christ-loving people they
were created to be. It makes much more
sense to name not only this new junior high school but other streets, schools, etc.,
after the Saints of Africa instead, men and women who genuinely did attain the highest
summits of human development.
There is no
shortage to choose from: St. Anthony the
Great of Egypt, the pioneer of the monastic life, who conquered demons and his
own passions; St. Moses the Ethiopian, a former gangster and murderer who
repented of those sins and became a renowned spiritual father; . . .

Holy Ælfred
the Great, King of England, South Patron, pray for us sinners at the Souð, unworthy though we are!
Anathema to
the Union!
